Therapy is a brave, personal journey of finding and reclaiming yourself. It can be a dynamic transformation of life’s pains and struggles into meaning and growth. Many of us have been taught to keep the best, most vulnerable parts of ourselves hidden to keep ourselves safe. Maybe we carry heavy burdens from shame and trauma and need healing.
At its best, therapy is about exploring where you are and where you want to go. Its about envisioning the life you want and wondering what's holding you back. Sometimes we get so caught up in our stories, we forget that we can change. I believe in the resiliency of all of us. My goal as a therapist is to help you face your most trying moments effectively, with grace and integrity. I am here to help you clearly identify obstacles and explore practical solutions by setting realistic goals. I value giving you the opportunity to safely explore fears, expectations and dreams in the hope that you will find the relief, support and perspective you need to feel grounded and whole. As we learn to accept and love even the least attractive parts of ourselves, we tend to build meaningful connections with ourselves and therefore, with others. |
